1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SlideVault ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

SlideVault is a presentation management platform that allows users to import, organize, search, and manage their PowerPoint and other presentation files. The Service includes desktop applications and cloud-based features.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account.

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
  • You may not use another user's account without permission
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscriptions and Payment

4.1 Billing

Some aspects of the Service are provided for a fee. You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set on a monthly or annual basis.

4.2 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the free trial, you will be automatically charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.

4.3 Refunds

Refund requests made within 30 days of the initial purchase will be honored. After 30 days, subscriptions are non-refundable. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify prices at any time. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will take effect at the next billing cycle.

5. Your Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to your content. SlideVault does not claim ownership of any presentations, slides, or other content you upload to the Service.

5.2 License to Us

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service. This license terminates when you delete your content or account.

5.3 Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have the right to upload and use your content
  • Not uploading content that violates any laws or third-party rights
  • Maintaining backups of your important content

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the software
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SlideVault and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will cease immediately
  • You may request export of your data within 30 days
  • We may delete your data after the 30-day period

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlideVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the new Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
